  2. @AVB-AMG Pics or it didn't happen.
  3. good luck to those who do try and quit. I did it about 2 years ago, so glad I finally did it. Its rough in the beginning, not going to lie .. but fight through the pain... it doesn't take long to start reaping the benefits of not smoking. Just think of all of the extra coin you will have for ammo and pew pew accessories
  4. Luckygunner or targetsportsusa are my go to places
  5. For me it was Oct 23rd and then Dec 6th between those two emails... so more than a few days. All depends on the county and municipality.
  6. Your still waiting on an email that says "Status Update: Approved." And then after that you need to hear from your PD that they are ready to be picked up.
  7. Got to eat the yellow snow though. The white snow just has no taste.
  8. combination weather and still in the middle of laying carpet down in the house. im out.
  9. I know what your going through .. .Went through it myself back in the day. I didnt like waiting either.. and yea without the FID or another person you cant rent. Not sure about all ranges but I know for a fact that with RTSP the second person does not need to be an adult. I brought by son with me a few times prior to having my own stuff. not sure if you have kids of decent age or not (I think at least 8 if not then 10 ).. but they would qualify as your second person.
  10. Soon as a read "Ammunition clips" the whole poll became invalid and fake news lol
  11. Its only been a few weeks. Kick back and have some patience. Realistically don't expect to get it until February. If by that time you haven't heard anything then make a polite phone call.
  12. I dont know of any 'real' range that would allow airsoft .. they don't want to have to pick up all the plastic bb's But I guess it cant hurt to call and ask them. Range fees are range fees... maybe they wont care. Can also do a google search for Airsoft fields nj. A lot of paintball fields also have airsoft fields as well.
  13. Were they reenacting the farmers insurance commercial?
  14. Airsoft is legal in NJ. Need to be 18+ https://www.njsp.org/firearms/firearms-faqs.shtml See #24 ... However .. if you use it improperly or illegally they will treat it as a regular firearm. In other words don't be stupid. And keep in mind they all look realistic so keep it in mind that the general public and the police can incorrectly identify them as real firearms and act accordingly.
  15. Tandy leather if your not sure exactly what you need and need to experiment. Ebay has a few good sources for leather too .. but you need to know exactly what your looking for, type, oz, etc
  16. i just responded to your other post ... not sure exactly how long its been for you ... but different municipality take longer than others. The longest ive waited has been 92 days and the shortest has been 45 days. I know some people that get theirs in usually 2 weeks... but thats in south jersey is a more rural town and county. It almost seems that the more populated your county is the longer it takes. No science behind that but the point is that the results are all over the place depending on the municipality your in.
  17. It depends. in reality it should take no more than 30 days as per the law but we all know that is a load of crap. Seems like it all depends on where you live and timing. My last batches that I got were 92 days, 45 days, and 84 days respectively. Currently have my latest batch in process now using the new online FARS system. Its been 20 days and counting since submission. You can always submit your info to the ANJRPC strikeforce as well: https://www.anjrpc.org/page/A_Strikeforce I believe they are still doing it as they would routinely send out legal letters to the municipalities and PD's that seem to be dragging their feet reminding them of the laws. Not sure if it helps or not but there is that.
  18. Everything is done online.. by submitting through that online system with your submission you are granting the state permission to run a mental health check as part of the process. After the online submission, your emailed references do their part and then the process is run for background check and mental health check etc ... Subtract all the BS and time wasted behind the scenes after that, the only thing you should need to do is wait for the local PD to call and tell you your permits are ready to be picked up, at which point you then go to the PD and pay the $2 per permit and then go shopping. At least that is the way its supposed to roll anyway. Though the system is not without bugs and delays apparently.
  19. Good on you ! I wish you and your suit the best of luck.
  20. legal or not .. its ugly as fuq
