They are talking about outta state vehicles.

Kind of useless to have.. if you can't shoot em.. They are not cheap and no good for the barrel either.

2C:58-10. Incendiary or Tracer Ammunition No incendiary or tracer type ammunition shall be discharged anywhere in this State except for law enforcement purposes by law enforcement officers in the course of their official duties or by members of legally recognized military organizations during the actual course of their official duties in or upon military establishments or ranges constructed or maintained for such purposes. Nonincendiary shotgun tracer ammunition may, however, be used on a trap or skeet field for target purposes. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the carrying or possession for distress signal purposes of a visual distress signalling device approved by the United States Coast Guard aboard a private or commercial aircraft or any boat.

That is not totally true.. Some equipment violations can be enforced on out of state vehicles if it involves obsuring of licensing and/or vehicle safety. So far Tint is not one of them. Windsheilds are still questionable in most states.

Just as some others above had said. Keep the firearm locked away from the ammo if you keep them side by side in the trunk. Don't keep them together in your gun case !! . Yes, You can keep your mags loaded, you can put hollow points in them, you can transport them to the range loaded, you can even have tracer inciderary rounds in your magazines (just can't shoot that ammo in nj).

Hi, finally joined the forum. Not big on chat, but been skimming and reading some stuff.. Wanting to get to see what is on people's mind with the new gov elect soon to be sworn in.
