  1. The food and fuel control act... passed and signed in 1917 and repealed after world war 1 in 1921. I had to immediately look that one up!
  2. I probably need to read this a few more times, but it appears that it may be a complicated process to be compensated for what the governor takes: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://law.justia.com/codes/new-jersey/2013/appendix-a/section-app.a-9-51/&ved=2ahUKEwiv5uKP18zoAhWHct8KHX05DkoQFjAAegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw3nZLaYX4ZKtvouH2IsWKef
  3. Here's the order: http://nj.gov/infobank/eo/056murphy/pdf/EO-113.pdf?fbclid=IwAR03hLA3qfjOotCUC5i0seY0vMSaZxJnVME9SrAq0lCqJp0P1kgimXMwR_Q
  4. I apologize.... for being 2 years off. In 1768 John Hancock's ship was seized by British authorities. He was accused of smuggling, defended by John Adams, and was not convicted due to lack of evidence. Nevertheless, Hancock's ship was not returned to him.
  5. This reminds me of Boston in the 1770s: https://newyork.cbslocal.com/2020/04/02/coronavirus-nj-gov-orders-state-police-to-commandeer-needed-medical-supplies/
  6. History /ammo purchases repeats itself. I dont shoot much .22 (actually none this year sofar!) but I bought 100 rounds in February for kicks. And now the shelves are bare....
  7. I remember my father going to an Edelman's in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania many years ago... Oh no! :-(
  8. Tanners in Jamison, Pennsylvania is very frendly towards out of state long gun transfers and purchases. As long as you have you purchaser card you are good to go!
  9. I recall Murphy's so-called gun violence round table last year only had people there who supported his position.
  10. Topps might be worth a bit more than the score ones. There's a few rookie cards, but they did make a lot of cards in those years.
  11. I think Murphy will ignore this and do what he wants. Maybe it will give the NJ2AS more pull in the courts with the lawsuit.
  12. I don't think Murphy was lost nor dumbfounded. I believe he knows exactly what he is doing and truly believes he will get away with it. I am totally unsurprised that did not answer the question directly nor accurately. And it was a totally unnecessary dig about a person having a lot of time on their hands. How is that different from, say, half of the state's population right now? They totally know what they are doing and believe they will continue to get away with it.
  13. Yikes! I will assume that the first deputy may have been knocked unconscious, or may have been incapitated from multiple broken ribs. Luckily his partner was a good shot.
  14. Yes. I have never had to wait 45 minutes in Pennsylvania. Fast and efficient!
  15. Yes. It would probably be complicated like making the New Jersey system work to purchase a pistol in this current dilemma. Well, we know how it could simplified, but certain elected officials appear to claim to know better.
  16. Glenn Beck was encouraging donations to appropriate groups on the radio yesterday. He also was talking about suggesting that banks, who are getting trillions from the federal government, should allow all mortgages/mortgagees 3 months without paying (and renters too). I know... a great idea that would help the economy that probably won't happen. He did say that the California governor is instituting this idea.
  17. New york city is probably the reason that Monroe County got lumped in with other more populous suburban Pennsylvania counties in the governor's last "stay at home" order.
  18. Yes. I saw this on pafoa.org, with a "Pennsylvania, take note of this" type of comment, but then Wolf "allowed" local gun stores to be essential.
  19. It is/was/will be again easy and convenient buying firearms in the great state of Pennsylvania. Why stop with multiple Glocks ??
  20. I have seen that site (op) before. My only critism is that they subdivide statistics from the united states, when I think having the entire country's stastics would make a better comparison. That aside, the United States has some good stats compared to much smaller contries.
  21. Yes. I was told that the range in Flemington used to be a perfume factory, so it already had a top notch air filtration system.
  22. I was at the Allentown Wal-Mart yesterday. The ammo shelves looked almost exactly like they did during the 2009 scare.
  23. Does this potential "win" really make a difference on the New Jersey legal landscape?
