  1. So I have direct experience with this. I sent my P320 to Sig and they had to replace the FCU which meant it got a new serial number. Because of that they had to send it to my FFL whereby I needed a permit to re-claim it. Luckily I typically try to always have a permit or two active it wasn't a huge deal for me but if your going to send a 320 in for service I would simultaneously apply for a permit if you don't have one.
  2. The scope they chose from Vortex does have ballistic computer built in.
  3. Assuming victory, the law in NJ will have to be changed to allow for shall issue as opposed to the current may issue. It will likely take a lawsuit to force that it to happen.
  4. I realize it's all conjecture at this point but I don't necessarily agree because they have already signed the agreement with Vortex for the new optic that has a built-in ballistic computer. They wouldn't need that level of sophistication for the useable range of the 5.56. It will take years but I don't think they will change from going to the 6.8 Fury. On top of that the US military is looking to open some of the shuttered ammo plants to manufacture more ammo. That tells me they will be making 5.56 and 6.8.
  5. I'm 6'3" and about 310. I have the 11 x14 LAPG level IV ceramic which are heavy. They were relatively cheap and the reviews on YouTube were good. If I was doing it all over again, I would go with the 10x12 as the coverage would have been acceptable and it would have been a few pounds less.
  6. Probably going to take many years to fully deploy that rifle. 5.56 isn't going anywhere.
  7. If you are not a resident of the state that has constitutional carry can you do it legally as a non-resident when visiting?

No worries, I didn't take it that way. Mine has about 500 rounds through it and I've never had a problem. I've heard their Cobra series has problems but the Vipers get good reviews on YouTube. I'm happy with mine and that's all that matters to me.

I have 12 gauge version of the gun and I use it for sporting clays. I love the thing. When I got my hunting license even the guy who administers the test asked if he could take some shots with it and he liked it.
  10. I used the Canik mags today at the range with no problem. Happy I saw this thread.
  11. That's a relatively early number I believe.
  12. I got my call from the 1911 CMP earlier this week. Unfortunately due to some unforseen circumstances, I had to pass on it. Really sucked because I had been waiting for a year.
  13. The PDP full size 10 rounders are now available on the Walther website. I just ordered two of the them because you can't have enough magazines.
  14. I received mine today. I will test them this weekend but they look good to me.
