  1. He just got shot in the face. I think he's going to lay off carjacking in the future.
  2. I've got no complaints over this. Don't steal other people's property and definitely don't risk other people's kids lives. One less carjacker.
  3. When I got my dog, she had severe separation anxiety. But she's learned tricks so fast. Sit, stay, down, come, crawl, mongoose, both paws, wave with both paws, heel, leave it. Treats are good for initially teaching them. I've also found that ridiculous praise can work. They want you to be happy and it makes them happy when they make you happy. It's all about consistency. With my sister's pit, he'd jump but we'd just completely ignore him until he stops. Then, once he relaxes, we'd interact with him. This way he'd learn he wouldn't get attention if he was being obnoxious. For pulling on the leash, the way I was taught which kinda worked (hounds can only be reigned in so much) was if they start pulling, to stop walking and force them to reverse direction. This way they learn to go where you want to go. Was a huge pain in the butt. Good luck with your pup! They can be stressful but you can't beat that unconditional love.
  4. Why? It's not a federal ban so what does the president have to do with it?
  5. Yep. That's a Supreme Court case waiting to happen. Government already has my DNA anyway. What's the difference at this point?
  6. Feels like they are never going to open. FMJ down in Upper Township is good with rentals and I've seen multiple bachelor parties there.
  7. Yea, a database of everyone willing to arm themselves? Not super sketchy at all...
  8. My Dad just sent me the link. My step-sister was friends with her and lived with her for a year during college.
  9. Yea, this has been my experience with the 15-22. First and only gun I've cleaned but it's super easy and straightforward. Just wipe down the chamber and bolt, run a bore snake through the barrel with a little bit of oil on the end half of the snake. Granted I've only put 400 rounds through it so far but no issues so far and it looks brand new if you break it down.
  10. Solo was good if you don't have high expectations. Decent movie, but Rogue One was still the best. Just still annoyed as I read tons of the books and thoroughly enjoyed the storylines.
  11. Because it also just describes a regular asshole?
  12. This is such an arbitrary list. At no point does it actually base it's rankings on numbers of psychopaths. It's based on: extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience. That is absolutely idiotic.
  13. So, for those who posted, I ended up with the Vortex StrikeFire II Red/Green Dot and also the VMX-3T Magnifier from Vortex. Target 2 included my zeroing.
  14. From what I've been told my a mental health professional, they are basically just looking to see if you've ever been committed or reported by a professional as suicidal or having threatened someone. They don't talk to therapists or such and mental health professionals aren't going to say anything to the police even if they are asked unless they directly threaten to kill themselves or someone else. Revealing any of your medical information would destroy the whole basis of being someone you can safely talk to. Also, there's no database or anything with everyone's therapy/psychology records so the only searchable thing the police can find is officially reported institutionalization.
  15. I don't mean for law abiding citizens. Obviously we aren't selling to criminals.
  16. I can see it being a way to punish people after the fact when they trace who the criminal got the gun from. Not going to really stop anything but just more punishment after the fact. I was talking to someone who is a therapist and asked them about the new gun law with them reporting people. She said it's a feel good law and changes absolutely nothing in procedure.
  17. Pretty much, yea. Not a bad idea.
  18. I've enjoyed firing the M1 Garand and M14. Reading the banned gun list, "M1 Carbine Type" and "M14S" are both listed so I'm a little confused then on what's okay. I see Springfield M1A's for sale at Shooters so I have no idea at this point. Also not trying to break the bank since I keep complaining about saving money. Suggestions?
  19. https://blog.safetyglassesusa.com/how-to-identify-ballistic-rated-eyewear/ Safety Glasses USA is where I buy my safety glasses for work. Z87.1 is minimum for lab standard but I encourage better. And it's totally worth having a good pair when working with explosives. https://www.safetyglassesusa.com/edge-dakura-polarized-safety-glasses-with-black-frame-and-yellow-lens/ These are my favorite pair. Good for indoor and outdoor. Plus the yellow tint is good for filtering out blue light from screens. https://www.wileyx.com/ProductDetail/acsla04_slay-pol-greygloss-black-frame These are my favorite outdoor sunglasses. Not terrible indoors.
  20. So far I've had Silencer Smooth and AK47 Espresso. Silencer Smooth is just too light for me. I'm used to drinking dark roasts. AK47 still tastes kinda light to me but is actually pretty solid. I've been drinking it at work.
  21. And we aren't even being compensated with a legal replacement or cash.
  22. There's 15 Republican senators so either they didn't all vote or some voted for it. I'm curious who. This magazine reduction is so dumb. Just a feel good law.
  23. I agree with you on these points. There just needs to be a process to apply for a repeal after a certain amount of time.
