  1. Ok...will let you know have to think if I want to try and go for one of the bronze ones out there or consider the other colors you can still get . thank you!
  2. I also just found this one. Little bit cheaper and appears to have the recall already completed when I entered that serial number on the ruger.com website https://www.gunsamerica.com/911677324/Ruger-Mark-IV-22-45-Lite-Bronze-NIB.htm
  3. I was hoping to get the one in Bronze if any are floating around out there. The color is different as well as the way the holes are cutout on the bronze, red and green models. I think the bronze may be out of production. If I can't find one might do red but that is a Davidson exclusive I think. LMK what you can find and if you can get the bronze somehow. thank you
  4. I read on the forums here last night they are almost always granted and rarely rejected.
  5. Gallery of Guns shows the Ruger Mark IV Lite 22 (has a threaded barrel) as restricted in NJ. Does this seem correct? Is the drilled out part around the barrel considered a shroud and thus making this not legal in NJ? I thought threaded was legal as long as it didn't have one other "evil" option on it (i.e. shroud, silencer, etc) Here is the gun https://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx?item=43910 At the link below you can see they seem to restrict any handgun with a threaded barrel https://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/PowerSearchTabView/SearchResultsFirearms.aspx?index=0&mfg=Ruger&cat=1&type=All&mdl=All&cal=22LR&zipcode=08873&instock=&rebate=No
  6. This is great. Now I can grab these pistols online and have my FFL here ready and waiting for me to pickup each 30 day interval or sooner if I get the exemptions. At least this way I have the serial number too so I can file for the exemptions.
  7. That is very good and what I was hoping was the case. I'd like to buy a few handguns that seem to be out of stock or discontinued most everywhere and be able to grab them while I can. As long as my FFL has them in safe keeping that is fine and I can wait the 30 days per gun. I will check storage fee as you suggest. Might ship to one of the ranges (both are FFL's) and probably joining there anyway so as member might not have storage fees.....plus FFL transfer fees are lower for members on the range clubs I am looking at. Thank you
  8. Hi. New gun owner here. I read the gun law primer and one gun every 30 day primer here and had a question which is not directly addressed. I had 3 handgun permits. Just used one a few days ago for first pistol. So now my 30-day clock has begun. There is a gun that I'm looking at that is out of stock almost everywhere but there is one online store out of state that has it. My concern is they sell it before 28 days pass and I am beyond the 30 days where I can purchase my next handgun. So does the 30-day rule apply if I purchase it online from out of state FFL today, have them ship to my local FFL here in NJ and don't go to pick up the handgun and do the transfer until after the 30 days? I didn't know if purchasing it online breaks the 30 days or if by waiting to pick it up and do all the paperwork on day 31 is a way I can secure the gun now and get it later. In my head I'm buying the gun then the NJ FFL dealer is just holding it for me until I come in to actually transfer it. It seems this would be ok but this is New Jersey..... BTW for the moderators....your NJ Gun law faq here I think still states NJ firearm for semi-auto may not have a capacity greater than 15 rounds. You may wish to update the FAQ to reflect the current NJ law which reduced that to 10 rounds. I know the deadline is coming up for when all 15 round mags are supposed to have been converted/pinned. Thanks in advance for any info any of you can provide on this question!
