  1. I’m all for keeping any innocent person safe, from anyone attempting to cause them harm, unfortunately none of these laws will render that as a result and only punish everyday people when they get jammed up for not knowing.
  2. How they’re going to force through things like, limiting the ammo you are allowed to own/buy, internet sales, pull some NY “safe act” stuff, like featureless rifles etc... I just can’t wait
  3. Thanks guys, much appreciated
  4. As title states, anyone able to identify this magazine. Was acquired in a bulk purchase of items not sure what it’s for.
  5. An NJ complaint AR most likely won’t be NY Safe act complaint, meaning it would be an “assault weapon” no go. https://safeact.ny.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/RiflesBannedFeatures.pdf
  6. Probably possible, unfortunately I’m most likely not worth the investment.
  7. I was reading somewhere can’t find the source, but it was something like once they have 5% of the populations DNA profiles they can basically identify everyone, by tracing family tree. So even if you, yourself don’t give up your dna, if enough of your blood line does it doesn’t matter.
  8. I’m aware of this issue. Mine doesnt fall into the years of recall. I know that doesn’t mean much, but I’ve wheeled and driven this jeep since it had 20k miles. Never had an issue with oil pressure etc. Plenty of other issues just haven’t had that one yet.
  9. If first buyer falls through, can I call next ?
  10. I believe the only way around this statement is if it was a direct family member. (Blood or legal step children etc ) example: father passed left everything to son. Son gets firearms. No P2P or FID required.
  11. Don’t know where your located, but Howell Gun Works stocks all pins detent springs etc needed for a build, I would assume any gun smith that does AR builds or compliance work should have it.
  12. Well that’s good at least we won’t feel it all at once. I’m just wondering if I’m magically going to get increases in pay to offset the market value of my job now doubtful
  13. Between this and the new minimum wage that was passed. How long do you guys think before the prices on everything start rising?
  14. "At every juncture, there has been immense resistance, from the attorney general's office to the township of Little Egg Harbor to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, to just simple answers," said Matthew Adams, an attorney representing the Fennell family. The use-of-force report indicates that the shooting happened July 16, 2016, but the date marked in a box next to the signature box is Jan. 3, 2017. The family had to sue in superior court to obtain it Is that normal practice, For it to take 6 months for the use of force report to take.
  15. I launched one, three days ago while assembling, Finger slipped. Same thing Detent was heard hitting multiple surfaces, traveling off into another universe. I didn’t even bother attempting to find it.
  16. Got an email about the hunt that’s sold out, went to website signed up for “waiting list” under the assumption that was for the April hunt. Wasn’t able to find the actual April hunt sign up, am I just lost and confused or ... someone help !
  17. I personally just had a faxon slim line break installed on 14.5 barrel. Haven’t finished the build yet, can’t comment on performance, I like the look. It was convenient that I was able to have it pinned and welded while still waiting for the rest of the parts. Gas block, barrel nut slipped right over no issues.
  18. https://gunmagwarehouse.com/6-pack-of-hexmag-ar-15-223-5-56-10-30-round-polymer-magazine.html quick google search of “10/30 AR mags”
  19. Print out and Fill N.J. fish and game workbook, you will learn a good amount of information by doing this.(you can pay extra and take the online course but why) Once the packet is filled you need to register to take a field test and written exam. I would highly recommend getting both firearm and bow, if you do one and not the other, but later on want to switch it up you’d have to take the whole thing over again. Pulled off NJ fish and game web site. Any threaded barrel needs to be capped and pinned and or a muzzle device pinned. No flash hider A2 for example not allowed consider a flash suppressor to N.J. no collapsible stock, can have one but, needs to be pinned in place. Im sure if you used the search, you will find way better deltail and explanation, of actual laws etc...
  21. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/judge-tosses-parkland-shooting-lawsuit-cops-and-schools-had-no-duty-to-protect-students-she-says/ar-BBR6uqc?li=BBnb7Kz saw this as a headline this morning. Only posting it, regrading how someone else mentioned that they weren’t going to toss the case in Florida, but yet here it is tossed out, because we’re back to the reality that police are not legally required to render anyone aid. Now with that being said I know a lot of Leo’s and men/women in general that would wouldn’t a second thought put themselves in harms way to protect people. I’m not trying to bash law enforcement ect, but the legal reality is that they are and will not ever be required to protect anyone.
  22. Must be nice to be considered a higher class of citizen. As a normal civilian opening carry in your yard while legal will most likely turn into a major affair. Like others stated conceled from neighbors might be the best idea. Most towns have ordinances where if your causing public annoyance or cause major police response is a chargeable offense regardless if that panic is justified or not. Plus with the new “red flag” laws in place all the neighbor had to say is your acting irrationally etc. now all your guns get seized and you get to spend some money get all your property returned.
