I’m all for keeping any innocent person safe, from anyone attempting to cause them harm, unfortunately none of these laws will render that as a result and only punish everyday people when they get jammed up for not knowing.

How they’re going to force through things like, limiting the ammo you are allowed to own/buy, internet sales, pull some NY “safe act” stuff, like featureless rifles etc... I just can’t wait

I was reading somewhere can’t find the source, but it was something like once they have 5% of the populations DNA profiles they can basically identify everyone, by tracing family tree. So even if you, yourself don’t give up your dna, if enough of your blood line does it doesn’t matter.

I’m aware of this issue. Mine doesnt fall into the years of recall. I know that doesn’t mean much, but I’ve wheeled and driven this jeep since it had 20k miles. Never had an issue with oil pressure etc. Plenty of other issues just haven’t had that one yet.

Don’t know where your located, but Howell Gun Works stocks all pins detent springs etc needed for a build, I would assume any gun smith that does AR builds or compliance work should have it.

I personally just had a faxon slim line break installed on 14.5 barrel. Haven’t finished the build yet, can’t comment on performance, I like the look. It was convenient that I was able to have it pinned and welded while still waiting for the rest of the parts. Gas block, barrel nut slipped right over no issues.

Any threaded barrel needs to be capped and pinned and or a muzzle device pinned. No flash hider A2 for example not allowed consider a flash suppressor to N.J. no collapsible stock, can have one but, needs to be pinned in place. Only posting it, regrading how someone else mentioned that they weren’t going to toss the case in Florida, but yet here it is tossed out, because we’re back to the reality that police are not legally required to render anyone aid. Now with that being said I know a lot of Leo’s and men/women in general that would wouldn’t a second thought put themselves in harms way to protect people. I’m not trying to bash law enforcement ect, but the legal reality is that they are and will not ever be required to protect anyone.

Must be nice to be considered a higher class of citizen. As a normal civilian opening carry in your yard while legal will most likely turn into a major affair. Like others stated conceled from neighbors might be the best idea. Most towns have ordinances where if your causing public annoyance or cause major police response is a chargeable offense regardless if that panic is justified or not. Plus with the new “red flag” laws in place all the neighbor had to say is your acting irrationally etc. now all your guns get seized and you get to spend some money get all your property returned.
