  1. There’s a big difference in what Illinois has and what NJ has... Illinois has a FOID (Firearms Owners Identification Card) needed for mere possession of a firearm.. NJ has a Firearms Purchaser Identification Card, which in not required for possession..
  2. Here is why it was ruled unconstitutional.. Due to the language of 430 ILCS 65/2(a)(l) and the Court’s interpretation of the statute, it is clear that compliance is impossible when one is in ·their own home. No person could have their FOID card on their person 24 hours each and every day when firearms or ammunition are in the house. In addition, every person in the home (family member, friend, spouse, etc.) who has knowledge of the firearms or ammunition and has immediate and exclusive control of the area where the firearms or ammunition is located, who does not have a FOID card, would be in violation of the statute

  8. They blamed a 3 month+ holdup on my change of address on waiting for my references to respond.. Total BS.. One reference handed it in person the day after he received it and the other filled it out and gave it to me to mail out...
  9. When filling out the form for handgun purchase permits, I would always get to the part where they want 2 references and think to myself.. Am I applying for my constitutional right to bear a firearm like I’m applying for a friggin job.. Needing references for a constitutional right, what BS is this!!! If that’s the case make it ID & 2 references to vote!
  10. Unfortunately when it comes to the SCOTUS, the only Justice I have any faith in not being fearful of backlash on 2A cases is Clarence Thomas...
  11. Under the new law only those carrying under (RPO) can carry 15.. LEOSHA would be 10.. 2.
