All this courts and prosecutors have me thinking. I was denied over 20yrs ago (the public safety line they abused) by my dept and never appealed. Years later I retained a lawyer and did an expungement and reapplied where EVERYTIME I fill out the ST-033 I have to answer YES to Question 27. I was approved an FID and have applied for multiple pistol permits with approvals thru the years. I read on NJgunreddit some gentleman was like me and they denied him and now the prosecutors want to go after his FID and have his weapons taken away. Anybody hear this?! My lawyer is Jef Henninger and I have him on speed dial, but I would think they would want to challenge anyone who has any type of blemish on their apps. hope this don't turn into another $$$$$$$$ trap.

If you already have an FID you don't need to get fingerprinted...When you apply for CCW you will have to get fingerprinted again.

Any update on Burlington County issuing?!? Ever since Mount Laurel sent them to the courthouse it got quiet, that was like 2x weeks ago. Haven't heard anything bout other towns yet. Once mines get sent to the county I will update.

not all counties accept non residents according to those links... Delaware County and Northampton look like the only 2x close to me. Bucks is the closest to me but they have it listed as "unknown". . Guess Delaware would be my go to.

$20 fill out application online they have 45 days to approve.. make an appt, go over to county take your pic sign your paper and out the door.. NO qualifications NO notaries NO fingerprints NO restricted firearms NO passport photos NO judges/prosecutors. Gosh we live in a prison..~le sigh ....3 more years and I'm outta here!!

I went to Fairless Hills on Tuesday as a walk in.. there was one person getting their fingerprints taken. I sat down for 30 seconds and was already next.. they do take appointments over walk ins.. I just lucked out on my timing. I was there about 10:30am.

Well looks like Burlington County is moving along..I put my packet in Tuesday & the Clerk said about 30-40days. get to signing Judge Cook.

I just got back from having prints done in PA this morning, Clerk said nothing about it. She was the one to tell me that see if they have walk ins available...and I went to Fairless Hills.

Awesome!! I just put my package in today. Clerk said about a month wait. The courts will let me know if I'm approved.

Paul said " as of 3x days ago you only have to put one pistol on form" this was on Saturday. And that once approved you will be able to carry what you want. this was out his mouth. I just dropped off my application @ the PD and my clerk said I'm looking at a month wait.

Well, finally got to take my qualification test on Saturday at Shooters after a 4x week wait. It was a cool experience, Paul was our instructor and we went over Use of Force and then did our shooting. Probably about 8-10 ppl in the class, said its starting to slow up. Nice facility about an hr ride for me but it was all backroads. If in the South Jersey I recommend them.

My coworker is going thru Mount Laurel PD as well, he did his AFTER you (7/12)and they called references last week and no employment verification. things that make you go hmmmmm, maybe they are going thru top to bottom stacks with bottom being the oldest. regardless it should've been in the county courthouse by now.

Someone in another NJ gun group said his CCW packet was sent back because in 89' he was driving on an suspended license and had to do 3x days of community service. The detective said he should have checked YES to question 17 (disorderly persons). So now he has to check yes and resend it, he contacted his lawyer and even the lawyer said that should not matter since it is a motor vehicle issue. Mind you he already has an FID card and purchased many firearms before. I told him to forward it to the ANJRCP Strikeforce.

**update** I'm also open to trades, I'm waiting on permits to come thru so I would like to use Kulak Arms for this since he would hold it for me, till they come in. but lookin into a VP9SK or a Glock 43x MOS. We can work out the differences in price.

From what was said on Reddit, yes! You receive a packet in your port ,you go over the material then sign off. Not sure of the time spent in the class. If I didn't live so far I would go here. but Shooters is the closest to me with many reputable references ,they was also posted on the NJSP website along with GFH, so I went with them. Aug 13th!!
