  4. If permanently moving out of state, is it okay to check-in hollow point ammunition secured in a locked hard case inside luggage? Does TSA ask to see ammo during firearm declaration process? 2018 news from TSA says: "At the airport during the check-in process, a passenger needs to go to the airline ticket counter to declare the firearm, ammunition and any firearm parts." https://www.tsa.gov/news/releases/2018/07/26/tsa-advises-passengers-how-travel-firearms-ammunition Thank you for any help. I haven't been able to find a good answer. Some folks say absolutely cannot and others say not a problem at all.
