I understand. When I did work I did list my employer but my town never contacted them. Anyway hopefully this new system will be much better.

It does ask for employer. I'm retired so it didnt apply to me. No extra forms. Just the application and mental health forms.

I recieved my permits from Clark. No mention of shortage of permits. From what I can see I recieved them 37 days after everything was returned to Clark PD. Tbey usually issue within 30 to 37 days. Remember late June tbru July is a big vacation month. All considered I think on line system worked pretty well. I have no issues with my town. Very smooth.

Ok I just got an email from on line system for gun permit application. Background is complete and now waiting on application to complete. See how fast this goes. Old way it only took 3 weeks.

I'm from Clark and never had an issue with permits. Took at most 3 or 4 weeks. Never a hassle. For Clark I will take them at their word that tbey ran out of permits. they also have an on line system to apply. Reference were back the next day on line. Hope it all gets cleared up.
