I had problems buying handgun ammo from Midway in the past, but sending a scan of my FID was all it took to get it corrected. However, today I got this message when purchasing: We're sorry, but City or State law prohibits us from sending item(s) in your cart to the address you have specified. As of April 1, 2008, New Jersey statutes will not allow sales of handgun ammunition to New Jersey. Does anyone know what statute this is referencing? I hadn't heard anything about this before. -
I was wondering if it was true that you can legally buy a handgun at 18 in a private sale?? can someone confirm this, please!!!

Hello, I have a multi-part question and I'll try to be a succinct as possible. I recently acquired a Pistol and Gun Permit in NJ. Hudson County to be exact I have a New York State License with my address showing a PO Box in New York City I work in New York City I live in New Jersey, Hudson County (most of the time) I used to live in New York State from 94-2008 at my parents I use to live in NYC about 2 years ago I want a New York State Carry permit as the states are so close to one another and I frequent both, and my parents and most of my friends live in NYS; taking my gun to NYS for target practice would be awesome. My parents own a house in NYS. Unless I have a fundamental misunderstanding of the New York law and English language, it seems that if I could prove that I also reside at my parents in NYS I might be able to also get a NYS permit to carry. It seems that if you have a business in NYS you can get a permit according to the site: http://www.co.ulster.ny.us/sheriff/criminal/pistol.html | http://www.nyfirearms.com/blog/nys-gun-laws/ Have any of you come across this or have advice? I seems states are acting on their own behalf and circumventing the Constitution. I don't get how this is legal to make it illegal to take your gun. Grrrr. Utah CCW course this saturday.
