All - If you want to get your NJ Fish & Wildlife "Hunting License" so you can shoot at the State WMA ranges, they have just announced new classes for the month of July, as of this morning. Already, one class is 10% full. I'd sign up quickly Go to this Website: NJ Fish & Wildlife Hunter Education and then click on the "see schedule and register now" link. Registration is free. The license is $27.50 for 1 year.
One of my references told me that they sent him a little letters and basically a small questionnaire about me. Now my other reference is currently out of the country for a few weeks on an achealogical dig, no joke. So now for my question... Is it required to have a reply from both of the reference in order for my application to be completed? Thanks for any help.
Hi all - I stumbled upon this forum tonight because I'm in search of an answer to my question. I'm a travel nurse and NJ resident who is currently living in Texas for the next few months. I'm interested in purchasing a pistol for home defense. From the topics I've searched on the forums it sounds like I'll have to go to a NJ local or state police department to obtain a license... Am I missing something? Will making a special trip back to NJ be the only way I can obtain a gun license? Or can I just walk into a local police station here in Houston and do the required paperwork dispute being an out of state resident? I apologize if this has been discussed before... I did search through forum topics with license in the title and didn't find an answer to my question. Thanks, J
