Ok so its glass time for my SPR build..need some help choosing from listed field Gun has 18" Rainier Barrel 1/8 Twist .223 Wylde Chamber..gonna be throwing 69gr and up Some parameters 1. Shooting from 50-300 yds 2. Looking for a nice balance of precision and versatility 3. If I go higher magnification model then the plan is to offset mount some sort of RMR..if going with one of the 1.5 models then just sticking with that 4. All listed fall in my price range (Burris 1.5 is top end..Vortex would be cheapest) 5. All will be mounted in ADM Recon QD mount 6. Illumination is nice but not required 7. Don't necessarily need FFP 8. All have lifetime warranty policy Any and all help is greatly appreciated as I am completely overwhelmed with the choices and am trying to follow the "buy once, cry once" mantra..

Ok let me begin with my intent...Im building an SPR clone for use in the 200yd plus arena...basically an accurized AR with 18" barrel.. I already have a shorter AR which is my run-n-gun tactical baby....Im basically following the Mk12 SPR build sheet (but modified as much as possible to my budget)..I don't have the cheddar to build a true Mk12 but looking forward to using the vast AR parts market to build my own.. so fire off any advice you may have for anyone that has built one or did some research..time is not a big factor as I probably won't be able to pay for everything up front...Here's what I have so far (with my preliminary budget price next to it) LOWER- already have a Spikes Punisher lower ready LPK -thinking CMMG LPK $60 TRIGGER- thinking Geisselle Super two-stage. $210 UPPER - BCM? only going by reputation would consider other quality ones $100 BCG - toss up with BCM/LMT/DD $160 BARREL 18" SPR profile looking at Beragara/White Oak / BCM $300 MUZZLE DEV. AND GAS BLOCK - PRI OR YHM Gas block with integrate flip up sight Haven't really looked into muzz devices yet $200 for both HANDGUARDS- only specs I have are round free float modular...I've seen PRI/KAC and MI $250 STOCK - Magpul PRS or fixed rifle stock, will also consider regular A2 stock $70 - $200 for PRS CHARGING HANDLE - like the PRI gasbuster but would probably be happy with BCM GF $45 -$100 BUIS - not sold on any one yet... $80 OPTIC - here's where I know crap about nothing ... Probably would like to be in the less than $400 range shoot away folks with comments,criticisms, recommendations etc..I only have the lower right now and haven't committed to anything else yet...Thanks NJGF-ers
