  1. Price drop- Up for sale is a never fired BNIB STD MFG DP-12. Of course, all original accessories, packing etc. included. Located in Middlesex area . Buyer to have FID, matching DL and fill out COE. $1000 First I'll take it wins. Thanks!
  2. Want to sell my Remington 870 tactical. It is in good condition. Has some slight rust on the upper part of the receiver. It is a 12 gauge pump action shotgun. I can include 8 boxes of Winchester 8shot ammo as well. I'm in union county and will travel to FFL within reasonable distance. Asking $300 with ammo.
  3. Looking to sell my Beretta 1301 Tac. Black, standard stock, extended factory 7 round magazine, WITH replaceable chokes. Gun is like new, with all original packaging, paperwork, and accessories. Has been fired less than 250 rounds, and is in perfect shape. 7+1 round model, made NJ compliant with a 2 round limiter. I bought this gun brand new less than a month ago. I’ll include a Beretta hard plastic, foam lined gun case. I have a 1301 comp incoming, and while I would love to keep the tac, it’s just not practical, so I am letting it go. Located in 08724, will travel to a ffl for transfer within a reasonable distance. Would prefer not to deal with shipping. Please, serious buyers only. Ask any questions and I’ll answer them asap! https://imgur.com/a/LjsVi9C IMG_8426.HEIC IMG_8431.HEIC IMG_8436.HEIC IMG_8435.HEIC
  4. Hey everyone, I'm a new gun owner and I love the gun community! What I don't love is NJ and their ambiguous and backwards gun laws. I wanted to get a pump action bullpup shotgun and was looking at the Kel Tec KS7 and KSG. While trying to compare them with other brands I found it was almost impossible to find a list of pump action bullpup shotguns for around $1,000 or less. Does anyone have any good recommendations besides the black aces tactical? Thank you in advance for your time and help. Have a great memorial day and God bless those who lost their loves making the ultimate sacrifice

  6. Hello! I got a shotgun as a gift from my relative who visited me in NJ. I need to take this to an FFL to do the proper transfer (Firearms Transaction Record/ATF Form 4473), right? I do have the NJ Firearms Purchaser ID and I understand the handgun permit I was recently issued is only good for intra-state (NJ) transactions.. Thanks for any pointers in advance.
  7. Fausti Excelsior Model 88 12ga Great Condition - $350.00 Additional Pictures on request.
  8. Browning A5 12Ga (Circa 1967) Mint Condition , No Cracks in the stock - $750.00 Additional Pictures on request.
  9. With so many registered shoots going on, I thought I'd try a new range in South Jersey and visited Quinton in Salem County and have since gone back. It's a nice facility overall, offering Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays and 5-Stand. I've been there twice for Trap and Sporting Clays and both were busy, but not crowded. On the Trap field, the shooters were pretty laid back and friendly and the woman, Lisa, who was running the show was super helpful. I went with my son and both being new to Trap, I appreciated the advice from the guys just hanging out. It's the kind of place that gets a lot of regulars and they sit around and chew the fat and, when there's enough for a squad, or when Lisa is trying to fill a squad, someone will get up and join. You know there are regulars when a shooter goes down into the trap house to check on the trap or set it up for doubles. It was a pretty good mix of people, yeah, plenty of middle-aged and elderly men, but a few women and juniors as well. It was a very comfortable place to shoot and I recommend it, though it is a haul (for me) being so far south. They only have one Sporting Clay course as far as I know and it's nicely laid out in the woods along winding, stoned paths. We found the presentations fairly hard - definitely more difficult than the Woods course at Cedar Creek, for example. Lots of longer distance targets. I don't shoot skeet but they have a couple of skeet ranges that look to be in good condition. I've not seen anyone on the skeet range either time I've been there. Prices per round weren't bad - $30 for 100 Sporting Clays and $5 for a round of Trap (non-member prices). Clubhouses are nice. No ammo for sale.
  10. I haven't shot a shotgun in years (and never clay), but I've got it in my head to give it a go as I'm a little bored shooting at paper targets. So where does one go to get started? Just go to a trap facility, for example, and order a rack of clays and just have at it? (That sounds expensive). Find a class or instructor somewhere? I'm in South Jersey and I came across Pine Valley (which doesn't seem to offer instruction that I can see). Also found a place called Cedar Creek in Millville that looks to offer personal instruction. Appreciate any advice to a novice (shotgunner). Thanks!
  11. I was debating putting this in the Handgun or the Shotgun forum. Mods, if you think it will get better traffic there, please move it. So, my buddy just picked one of these up after a long back and forth conversation with NJSP. They said he was good to go as long as it was on a Pistol Permit: http://www.blackacestactical.com Thought some of you guys may be interested. I have no clue as to the quality, reliability, or function of this platform. I just thought it was cool that it was good to go in NJ. A rare exception to the "If you have to ask in Jersey" clause.
  12. I am confused about the specs for shotguns. I am comparing two Mossberg pump action 590a1 shotguns: An 18.5" barrel model has an overall length of 39.5" and holds 6 shells (+ 1 in the chamber). http://www.mossberg.com/product/590a1-7-shot-50776/ A 20" barrel model has an overall length of 41" and hold 8 shells (+ 1 in the chamber). It is 1.5" longer than the 18" barrel and 1.5" longer overall length. http://www.mossberg.com/product/590a1-9-shot-51660/ Both magazine tubes seem to go the full length of the barrel. So how does adding 1.5" to the barrel length add 2 more 2.75" shell capacity? The only thing I can think of is that the magazines have plugs to limit the number of shells but I am not sure why they would do this. Thanks.
  13. I was looking at a Remington pump shotgun on the Remington website and found a model #25077 MODEL 870 EXPRESS SYNTHETIC TACTICAL 7-ROUND which I am interested in. I then tried to find the gun on Davidson's and they only have the model #5077 (without the "2" prefix). They look like similar models and I have seen this on other models also. Anyone have any idea what the differences are? Thanks.
  14. Hey, I am searching for a 12 gauge nef/H&R pardner in 28" barrel mod choke. Tried a price request but I keep getting FORBIDDEN. Called a few local stores. (I live in Burlington County) with no dice. Everyone has slug guns but no standard 12 gauge. Anyone know of any stores in area that carry them new or used. Does cabelas in delaware carry em? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  15. Okay, I'm getting pumped for Black Friday and figured I could use some help from the community on setting my expectations for the kinds of deals I'm likely to see. Here's a list of stuff I'm in the market for... would appreciate some feedback on what stores I should be looking at and what kind of pricing to look for for each item. 1. a basic Ruger 10/22 (to teach the kiddos) 2. a fire-rated 10-24 gun size safe 3. a Walther PPQ M2 5" in 9mm (hard to find in stock lately) 4. a Mossberg 590A1 shotgun (missed the recent deal at PSA)
  16. I just got the Lion X6 shotgun, and all I can say is WOW. I'd compare this in reliablity and functionality with the Belelli semi-auto shotgun but at a fraction of the cost. Until I bought this, I've never heard of this brand. It is made in Turkey, and they are new to me. I found a few youtube video's for this gun Here is one >>>> I bought this from a guy in New Hope PA, (right across the river from me) and he has more of them to sell. They are $400, and probably worth double that. I don't want to sound like I'm a salesman, because I'm not, but if anyone wants one, I got it from General Defense Outfitters. This is a one-man operation, but he is the sole distributer for Lion in our area. His number is 215-297-5444. He's also an authorized sig dealer, and sigs are my friend.
  17. GAPP is offering two low light courses... low light pistol on May 4 and low light long arm on May 18, both at Shooters Sporting Center in Little Egg Harbor. Low light shooting is a difficult skill to master and something everyone concerned with personal protection should be trained for. In these courses, students will learn how to use low light or no light conditions to their advantage, how to shoot from cover, different lighting options, and different hold techniques... and ofcourse live fire. For more information and registration info, go to http://gappnj.com/upcoming_courses/low_light
  18. While on a trip I went to a range with some friends to shoot the hell out of some clay pigeons. Now I think I caught a trap/skeet bug. Now, being new to firearms I know nothing about shotguns. Designed or intended for this use. I have heard they can run on expensive side. Thanks for any tips.
  19. Hi guys, I am in the market for a slug gun for use this deer season (hopefully), and would like some opinions. Right now I am down to deciding between these two, which are where my budget is at: Mossberg 500 Slugster: http://www.mossberg.com/product/shotguns-pump-action-500-slugster/52273?u_field_prod_sight_type=Integral+Scope-Base+Cantilever@220&nodeRef=2330,2331,2333,2335,2336&redirect=1&filterNodes=2333,2335 H&R Ultra Slug Hunter Deluxe: http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx?item=sb2-988 I was just wondering if there are any pros/cons that I haven't yet considered in using a single-shot for hunting and would appreciate some input from veteran hunters. Thanks, Dan
  20. Ok, can someone tell me if a UTS 15 or the Kel-Tec version of the shotgun is legal in NJ?
  21. Ok well most of you know the game by now. We meet up, shoot lots of shotguns, and share laughs, shi* talking, and maybe even food (where are those dumplings at!?!). There are a ton of guns that everyone is willing to let you try (everything from Benelli's to old SxS's to newer Brownings, and lots of Mossbergs, for a reason .) 23. Getting prints done on the 8th. Does anyone know if Howell waits to send out the reference letters until fingerprinting is done? Itching to get this all taken care of so I can go looking for my first shotgun.
  24. Thought this was a pretty good deal... Since I seem to have all my rifle and handgun ammo in ammo cans and my sg ammo elsewhere, seems to be worthy storage. Holds 100 rounds. http://www.amazon.co...ils_o00_s00_i01
