I am shopping for a .308 and am considering 3 models. Any insight you guys can give to help the decision making would be welcome. I am a new shooter. I took the NRA First Pistol course and I have been to the range 4 times. What type of accuracy should I expect (not from the gun but from me)? I have been shooting a semi-automatic pistol at 25 yards using a 10" target. I have shot a few hundred rounds. I find the best I can do is get about 7-8 out of 10 rounds on the target. I wear glasses and when focusing on the front site the target is not very clear. What type of accuracy does an experienced shooter get? Thanks.
