I was at the range today and a guy was cleaning up his brass and had shot about 100 rounds of S&B .45 ammo. Just as he was about to throw it out i asked him if i could have it. He said sure and gave it too me my question is the primers have what looks like a red translucent coating on them. Is this coating a sealer and if it is should i do anything different when I eventually reload them. if they are going to be a pain to deal with i will just toss them as it was only a 75 to a 100. But i also want to know beacause of the sportsmans guide deal i was going to buy 500 rounds but if they are going to be a pain to reload i will pass. thanks
I'll be starting a new job in Manhattan soon and wont have the space or time to reload like I planned so take advantage and pick up some stuff without all those pesky shipping and hazmat fees! 2 boxes CCI Large Pistol Primers (1K each) $35 each SPF to intercooler 2 bottles Winchester 231 Ball Powder (1 lb each) $30 each SPF to intercooler Frankford Arsenal Caliper and Scale $40 for both SPF to intercooler Caliper Scale Frankford Arsenal Tumbler Kit $50 SPF to intercooler Has been used three times, plenty of life left in the included media. Hi all - I just found this handy little thing in the IDPA Tactical Journal as an ad and thought it might be useful for matches and sport shooters alike. It also looks like they have some cool portable stand products as well. Brass Wizard by Uniquetek.com From their site: Thought someone might find value from it.
