Danger In Crock Pot Land!

Recommended Posts

Thankfully, I don’t own a crockpot. However, I did have a sous vide cooker catch fire on me last week. Luckily I was standing right there when it malfunctioned, and I was able to put the fire out without burning my house down.

Many people use crockpots and such on a daily basis to make meals while they are at work. Fill them before they leave in the morning, and have dinner waiting for them when they get home.
I have never liked the idea of leaving an appliance like that one when you’re there to monitor it.
