Mrs. Peel 7,157 Posted December 17, 2020 I think my area (northern Hunterdon County) is likely going to get the foot+ of snowfall that was predicted. There's already about 6-7 that has fallen... it's been going at a fast clip since it started at 3, so it's dropping roughly an inch per hour... and this storm is supposed to truck on until about 6 a.m. It's definitely Snowmaggedon here! 10X 3,296 Posted December 17, 2020 We've got about 5" right now in Morris County, and we're in the 12-18" predicted band. Only snowing lightly now, but it will be interesting to see what we have by mid-morning.
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted December 17, 2020 5" here in Bridgewater - in the 10-15" band... Bridgewater is generally a bit of a bust though so with compaction/etc we'll probably get about 8" total.
silverado427 10,679 Posted December 17, 2020 We got frost on the pumpkin and that's it.
Malsua 1,422 Posted December 17, 2020 Got about a foot, still snowing. Very dense snow though.
Displaced Texan 11,731 Posted December 17, 2020 4”, the switched to freezing rain as the temp rose to 36°. Overnight the temp dropped to low 20s, and everything refroze. Ice. Sucks.
CMJeepster 2,777 Posted December 17, 2020 Hopewell, Mercer County. 6" not the 12+ predicted. I need better tires on the truck.

JackDaWack 2,895 Posted December 17, 2020 Hard to tell with the wind, lots of snow drifts around 2 feet and other places under a foot. So probably got about 14" or so
jm1827 284 Posted December 17, 2020 Looks like we got around 6-8 here in Millstone, probably had more but it switched to sleet/freezing rain for a couple of hours last night.
45Doll 5,873 Posted December 17, 2020 Wound up with 8-10" in lower Sussex County. Very light powder. Nothing stuck to the trees and it's blowing around this morning.
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted December 17, 2020 About 7-8" here in Bridgewater. I figured it would be less than predicted as we're in an area that hasn't gotten hit as hard as expected. Started melting and packing down while I was snowblowing and clogged up the snowblower several times. Merry Christmas! Shitter was full!
Xtors 333 Posted December 17, 2020 Southern Mercer... got about 6" but had a couple layers of snow sandwiched between sleet/frozen rain so it took a while to chop through.

Fishypete 6 Posted December 17, 2020 6-8 inches in Aberdeen and the shit is heavy. Friendly reminder. When not using your snowblower for two years check for mice nests. Interesting fire on my snowblower late last night. Nothing a little electrical tape didn't fix.
