Do they still offer the tax credits for electric vehicles? I know FL was one place you could do it due to registering the golf carts. People were basically getting free golf carts down there for a while.

If they do, it's a closely guarded secret. One of the big complaints is cart cost.  You can save a bunch buying it outside of The Villages, but then it becomes a big hassle, specially if you have a warranty issue.

There are probably at least 50,000 carts in TV, finding a used one that's in decent shape isn't hard.  You tend to find that someone in their final stretch will buy a nice one and rarely drive it because they are on their last leg.   They shed the ole mortal coil and the kids will fire sale the cart for some quick cash.  You just have to have money and be ready to pounce when the deal appears.

Anyone have the pleasure of re-digging out this morning thanks to late night plowing? Snow blower couldn't cut through the mounds they left. Had to get the metal garden shovel to break and it down and then drive back and forth over it a bunch of times.

Is it just me or has every snow event for the past few years now been greatly over hyped?

I think we got 2-3 inches in Bridgewater area.  Definetly not a "snowmaggedon". When I lived in Kansas this would have been barely mentioned in the evening news. "Have a nice night folks! Oh yeah, expect a little snow tomorrow.  We'll see ya' tomorrow night here on News Six!"

They got so bad at predicting, they overstate the amounts to make them feel better. If less, they say 'whew we missed that by a pubic hair',  if equal to or more, they can say 'we warned ya'... either way, they are not getting pounced. lol

We got like 6 to 8 inchs in Bridgewater near the airport. It surely wasn't the 20 inchs they said we were going to get Thank God !!

Really!? I'm only a few towns east of you.  The drifts are maybe 4-6 inches at my place but on the driveway and sidewalk it was three, maybe four inches if I'm being  very generous.

Got 7" here - you know where I am now...

Drifts make it hard to tell.

True.  Seems just a few miles West of me always gets more.  I'm probably 10 minutes east of you down 28 or 22.

Guess I shouldn't be complaining about getting less as I wasn't able to get out until almost 9pm last night to shovel.  It was a long work day.

There's a pretty clear line of where the snow dropped off - we're about on it.

The Watchung Mountain ridges north of us help keep a lot of the snow off I think.

I was waiting for the Democrat Socialists to dump a big pile of snow in the middle of the night when everybody was sleeping.

So in October of 2019, there was a Sabbath cover band at Spanish Springs square.   It's like that a lot.   Not just big band and fuddy duddy stuff.

They sound pretty good. Speaking of War Pigs... I just saw this. It's cool but sadly only 54 seconds long.

ETA: My favorite version of this song is still Cake's.

Time for another blast. Looks like the center of the state is in the bullseye... Better go reload that milk, eggs and bread:

...and don't forget the beer...

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
LATE MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations over 7
inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph creating
significant blowing and drifting of snow.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern and southern New Jersey
  and southeast Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through late Monday night.

It looks like most of NJ is on the hook for at least significant snowfall, possibly a KABOOM (12 inches+). Most of NJ is looking good for at least 3+ result, even the places that get cutoff like extreme NWNJ and extreme SENJ

I just bought a full size 4x4 pickup truck, so I'm actually looking forward to it.

Bring it!!!

My '17 Ram I barely got to play in any snow, my '20 Ram it's looking the same so far, so some decent snow fall would be nice!
