B4LLZNJ 2 Posted December 18, 2020 So Im at the point where Im fine tuning my guns. I absolutely hate the trigger on my M&P 9mm. I come to realize that I want a flat trigger with less creep. I've heard good things about apex tactical triggers. Anyone have any experience with these? Any other triggers you guys think I should look into? Krdshrk 3,872 Posted December 18, 2020 Really? The 2.0 Trigger is a VAST improvement over the 1.0 trigger. Look up Burwell Trigger jobs - I have one on my M&P 9L. I personally like it more than the Apex triggers I've tried.
67gtonut 847 Posted December 19, 2020 I started out on M&P's..... Apex'd some.... Burwell'd another..... You know how I fixed the horrible pre-travel in the M&P's? Sold them and now shoot the Sig P320 / 365's 1
Shocker 150 Posted December 19, 2020 I have M&P 1.0’s and 2.0’s and they all get Apex’ed. I think it’s a large function of the shape of the trigger bar loop and the striker block for the “eh” take up, with the cam profile of the sear giving the creep and non ideal break. The 2.0 is better but it’s no Apex.
SgtToadette 59 Posted December 20, 2020 I don't have personal experience with Apex, but they seem to be where most people start and end when it comes to trigger upgrades. This is especially the case with the M&P series that doesn't have the same ocean of options like Glock does.
PistolWhip 13 Posted January 26, 2021 I put a full Apex kit in my Performance Center M&P40 and I love it. She's a tac driver.
