You're All Going To Be Rich!!! Mnuchin says $600 checks will be sent out ‘next week’

Recommended Posts

Just don't spend it all on ammo! :xD:

...."Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Monday that the government would begin to send out $600 checks to millions of Americans next week.

“People are going to see this money the beginning of next week,” Mnuchin said, in an interview on CNBC.

And here's the best part, Schumer is making sure all his "friends" are getting checks too!

Family members of unauthorized immigrants are now eligible to get stimulus checks under the $900 billion deal reached last night. That eligibility is retroactive, so adults excluded last time could get up to $1800 now.

Just heard on Sebastian Gorka's radio show (he's off today) that this new stimulus/relief bill is over 5000 pages long.

It makes me sick to imagine all the pork and socialist shit that's buried in this bill.

One thing mentioned was stimulus money to undocumented (ILLEGAL) aliens, including retroactive benefits for the ILLEGALS who did not receive benefits in the first round.

Weimar Republic, HERE WE COME !!!!!!

It is interesting that now that the election occurred, the democrats are suddenly compromising on that 4 trillion bill they originally had that they wouldn't budge on.

Not so fast, grasshopper... Pelosi has a plan:

...."House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., called the plan a “package that delivers urgently needed funds to save the lives and livelihoods of the American people as the virus accelerates.” They called the plan inadequate and noted they would soon push for more relief spending after President-elect Joe Biden takes office on Jan. 20.

This country is sooooo screwed. Not only was the budget in the hole for an additional Trillion deficit last year, these pandemic relief bills tacked on over  +$3 TRILLION on the last Bills, plus another Trillion with this one.... and still going...

You waana puke, go look at this link. Right now, each taxpayer in country owes $220,130. Ya got that in your checkbook, Trump needs some money, cut him a check.

This Bill has so much pork

This is probably equal to only a few strips of bacon:

Democrats send $600 in "stimulus" to you but they're sending:

$130 million to Nepal
$135 million to Burma
$85.5 million to Cambodia
$700 million to Sudan
$1.4 BILLION to something called the "Asia Reassurance Initiative Act"

What an absolute disgrace.

Well, looks like it's another one of Pelosi's fiascos... Anyone remember this:

quote-but-we-have-to-pass-the-bill-so-yo

House Passes 5593 Page Stimulus Bill Without Anyone Having Read It

In the immortal words of Nancy Pelosi: "we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what's in it."

Because, as Utah Senator Mike Lee so rambunctiously pointed out tonight, the bill is so huge that Lee said it will take three hours just to print out. And they’ll still have to vote on the bill tonight. It’s unreal.

Lee noted that "this is by far the longest bill I've ever seen," and added that members won’t be allowed to amend the bill in any way:

Here’s the really sad thing:  we’re being told that there will be no opportunity to amend or improve it.

As a result, nearly every member of Congress - House and Senate, Democrat or Republican - will have been excluded from the process of developing this bill, which will cost American taxpayers trillions of dollars.

This process, by which members of Congress are asked to defer blindly to legislation negotiated entirely in secret by four of their colleagues, must come to an end.

And, there was a time that hypocrite Pelosi believed that:

What a  ****.

So apparently the Senate will vote on this in an hour or two...which is the amount of time they have to "read" the bill.

This Bill is an even BIGGER disaster then I thought originally, and will push the country even further into the Red.

9 months of dicking around, and no one reads it before voting on it???? WTF!!

900 Billion GREW to $2.4 TRILLION!!

....."Lawmakers got their first look at the text of the bill, almost 5,600 pages long, only hours ahead of vote. While several groused that was not nearly enough time to review its contents, most lawmakers were relieved to wrap up the coronavirus deal, almost nine months after the $1.7 trillion CARES Act was passed in late March.

We can expect a vote on a 5,600 page bill this evening. Can anyone read 1,000 pages in an hour? Asking for a few friends on the Hill and the American people.

In addition to the almost $900 billion in stimulus spending and tax breaks, the bill includes annual funding for federal agencies totaling $1.4 trillion, and a tax section with about $167 billion in extensions or revivals of temporary tax breaks and and clean energy-related tax provisions, for a rough total of about $2.4 trillion.

What I want to know, is who teaches these idiots that they are worth that kind of money with ZERO experience??!!

We interviewed a guy the other day. Just out of college, with a nice education, but ZERO experience in our industry (or ANY industry, for that matter). I had a cut on this guy in the interview. Smart guy.
He was pretty cocky for someone with no experience, and he wanted a salary that was more in line with someone with 10 years experience.

He won’t be getting an offer letter.

I'd rather PRESIDENT Trump veto the whole fucking bill for it's bullshittery.

I agree, but our supposedly-now-unified country's political parties and branches of government are arguing amongst them selves as to who gets the "real" credit for this debt bomb...

It may take a month to do, but this sounds like the perfect bill for the President to apply the line-item veto to (yes, I realize that may not even be an option, but it would be so cool...)
