Lots of nutiness on gunbroker of late but two stand out to me.  1 was a kac mount for 4300 and then this one for a standard 686plus.  I know some of these accts have dummy accts that push up prices but this is nuts

Just sold for almost $3,000.00 for a USED gun!  Four times the price of a new one! This is bullshit! I won't buy from Gunbroker!

Sold for $2,916.00. Buyer has two feedbacks, most of the bidding was by people with NR or low number feedbacks. Curious if it will be relisted or the new buyers are willing to pay that kind of money.

The same stuff has been going on for the past few years with the Mauser K98 market. A rifle that has been renumbered to matching or has many other issues is sold by certain sellers for huge prices to buyers with no feedback. A recent fantasy rifle sold for $14k. If I was trying to sell a nice honest rifle I’m sure it would never get anywhere close to what certain other sellers would get for it.
