sgtdave4321 16 Posted January 23 Does anyone have experience with the Brownells RMR cut Glock slides? I am thinking of getting onefor my 19 Gen 4. I was wondering what others think of them. Thanks!
High Exposure 4,621 Posted January 23 I had a Brownells G19 slide that I bought right when they first came out. It worked fine. Sold it to a member here as a starter RMR setup. I just got a new Brownells G34 slide last week to top off a stripped Glock frame I had. Assembled easily - everything seems in spec. Haven’t gotten a chance to shoot it yet. I heard there can be some issues with fitting in Safariland holsters, but I have not experienced that myself.
Contrvlr 17 Posted January 23 I have a Brownells G19 slide ( Gen 3 ) that I assembled a couple of years ago , no issues.
sgtdave4321 16 Posted January 24 Thanks, I was curious about the holsters as well.
JHZR2 55 Posted February 7 Just to be definite, buying a replacement slide or barrel is NOT an issue with current regulations, even if it has a S/N, right?
Vicious 128 Posted February 7 On a pistol, the serialized frame is the only part that needs to go through an FFL.
JHZR2 55 Posted February 7 Ok thanks! The law talks about parts and kits, wanted to be sure that these other things couldn’t be construed as the making of a kit or some other wacko theory.
Displaced Texan 6,715 Posted February 8 Nope. The frame is the firearm. Parts kits, slides, barrels are not.
