father-of-three 243 Posted January 25, 2021 I was in Maine in 2019 and carried. I think it's the closest Constitutional carry state, at least the only one I have been to so far.
Sniper 6,372 Posted January 25, 2021 Not to worry. Didn't you get the email today? We'll be able to carry by the Summer... ANJRPC JOINS "FRIEND OF COURT" BRIEF IN NEW YORK CARRY LAW CHALLENGE! January 25, 2021. ANJRPC has joined a coalition of State Associations and law enforcement organizations who have filed a "friend of the court" legal brief in a pending New York carry law challenge that could be the first such case to go to the U.S. Supreme Court. The brief urges the Supreme Court to take the case. See a copy of the brief by clicking here. While ANJRPC has its own independent case seeking to challenge New Jersey's unconstitutional carry laws, the New York case is procedurally ahead of the New Jersey case and is therefore likely to be considered first. The coalition of organizations urging that the New York case be heard includes gun rights organizations from California, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Hawaii and Vermont, in addition to five law enforcement groups. There could be a decision on whether the Supreme Court will take the New York case by this Summer.
