Wavecaster 22 Posted January 27, 2021 Does having a fixed magazine in an AR (example this product right here https://crossarmory.com/shop/cross-armory-ar-fixed-mag/ ) take it completely off the "assault firearm" table, thus allowing you to have a flash hider and 5 point stock and whatever else? As I read the law it seems that yes it would, but I would like the opinion of the community as I'm sure most of you are much more up to date on things than I am I don't really think the inconvenience of having to top/side load is really worth the convenience of not having to weld a muzzle brake on, but a friend disagrees so double checking for their sake
GRIZ 3,365 Posted January 27, 2021 A changeable magazine is about the last feature I'd give up. 1

There is a myriad of technical crap we have to wade through to maintain compliance in NJ. These are the incremental obstacles the Demoncrats were able to enact piecemeal towards their ultimate goal of disarming American citizens. If it looks like an AR, they will confiscate it, if it's a semi-auto with a detachable mag, they want to confiscate it, if it has a detachable mag locking system that can be reversed, they will still confiscate. No semi-auto rifle is safe from the socialist demonrats desire to subjugate Americans.
