Does anyone have experience with Jim Flynn’s in glen Gardner nj, I bought a bag of 9mm Ammo for my Glock 19 gen 5 and I was wondering if it’s good Ammo and if it’ll be safe to fire in my Glock. Thank you- TD

Who made the ammo?  More info needed!

Gonna need more info than that.  Who made the ammo?  Any company info or box info?  Does it have lot codes, etc?

I mean - one way or another - it'll probably go boom.

It came in a bag. The casings say all different name brands. They look good I just wasn’t sure if that’s ok to shoot for a Glock.

The gun shop sold it in a bag of 125 rounds. That’s about all I know from it.

I would call Jim Flynn's and ask who the manufacturer is.  It's probably fine but who knows who made it.

He has a gun store on the side of his truck repair shop. It was my first time there and I really liked it. Small but they had a lot of stuff and seemed to have more Ammo than any other places I went to and he had the best prices by far from anywhere else in nj. We went 20 mins before closing today but plan on going back next weekend and I do plan to introduce myself and meet him.

What the hell kinda limey car is that.  Sorry it took a few minutes to respond.  I had to google how to spell limey. Accuracy is key:p   I gotta go.  Before i get another warning point.  Peace out.

It's East German so not limey at all. It is the car that most resembles your HiPoint.

Respectfully I'd recommend asking first next time.

Also, while this is a GREAT forum with lots of good/knowledgeable people, asking people on the internet who you don't know in real life if something "is safe" for YOU to do with a firearm is a recipe for disaster.

Jim Flynn is a respected Gun dealer and a really fair guy to work with.

I started dealing with Jim Flynn about 25 years ago.  Great guy, good prices.  I wish I lived closer so I could deal with him more often..  If he sold it I'd be pretty confident its okay. He doesn't sell crap.

My only concern about shooting it in a Glock is it needs to be jacketed or plated.  Lead bullets are bad for a Glock or ant polygonal rifled barrel.

Don't let the mixed headstamps bother you.  Very common with commercial reloaded ammo.

Gen 5 Glocks changed from a polygonal rifling to standard rifling, which they call a "GLOCK Marksman Barrel"

Speaking from personal experience, the reloads from Jim Flynn’s is are fine.  The guy who makes them is a local guy.  I’ve shot probably a 1k rounds of them and a buddy probably 2k.  Never an issue cause by the ammo.  Rounds fired from M&P, p320, p226, SA and glock.  Close family friend has shopped at Jim’s for prob 30 years exclusively shooting factory and these reloads.  I would buy them with no hesitation.  last batch I bough was just after the COVID lock downs hit, paid .17 a round and were packaged in a nice box labels Keystone.

    • I've watched a lot of "Mighty Ships" series on TV, as well as cruise ship series. It seems prevalent for large ships to have GPS tracking, and possibly guidance. So the path of this ship should be on record somewhere. And one critical fact would be whether or not as the ship approached the bridge it followed the correct path in the harbor channel. The conspiracy aspect would ask was  one of the electronic guidance/navigation systems hacked to put it on a collision course? I'm not anxious to find a terrorist attack. But if you'd asked me on September 10, 2001 what were the odds of four hijacked aircraft being successfully flown by amateurs into three iconic American structures... I will say there's not a doubt in my mind there are nasty people that crossed the border to cause trouble. I just can't be certain how, and how much.
    • It's been reported now that there were two harbor pilots on board and 21 crewmen. The article mentions that there were no cars on the bridge when it collapsed.   Actually, divers found two people trapped in their car.  They were recovered Tuesday afternoon.
    • My CDefense has a way different bullet profile / ogive than my CDuty..............easy to tell apart.
