SOLD!! WTS: Protran 30A generator transfer switch

Recommended Posts

WTS: brand new ProTran 31410C generator transfer switch and accessories. Still in the original box.
30A, 125/250VAC service, power up to 10 circuits.

I’m also including 30’ (about, I didn’t measure it) of 4 strand 6AWG cable to run to the gen plug in.

We had intended to wire this in for portable generator backup, but never installed it.
Since we are moving, I need to get this out of my basement.

The ProTran switch itself retails for $530 on Amazon and other retailers. I’ll let it all go for $325 , picked up in Stratford, NJ 08084.

You know the drill...first one to say ‘I’ll take it’, followed by a PM, gets it.

That's like $100 worth of cable right there.  This is a fantastic transfer switch and a stupid good price.  Anyone with a genset should think about adding this to their house.  It would be  foolish to not jump on this offer, Reliance is the gold standard.

No more 3-way splitters or extension cords running throughout the house, no looking for extension cords, no inleting the furnace, no electrocuting linemen.  Just plug it in and enjoy life while everyone else is in the dark or getting rained on.

Bump and price drop.

Does that price include installation??

But seriously, anyone who has a portable generator needs this. It makes life so much easier. I installed a similar one, and having the ability to plug in the genny, and flip switches to power circuits is a breeze! No more dragging extension cords all over the place.
