garret holster

Recommended Posts

some time ago, i'd posted askjing advice on a decent holster. i'm on garrets site(yea yea i move slow sometimes) and was looking mostly at the ranger and the champion.

i like the champion better, 'cause it's low cut and wouldn't require much rise to clear the holster. but i'm not sure it'd be good for carry. that's what had me looking at the ranger.

but they recommend the ranger for apendix to 530. i carry at my left hip.

i recall a couple of you guys said you've got one of garrets holsters...........which model, and how do you carry with it?

i tried doing a search for that thread, but couldn't find it and am about to jump in the shower.......thanks guys

I like that you can put different belt attachments on them. The build is super solid,it is a heavy kydex.I just don't know if I like the soft interior.I ran this through a few classes and as you can see the soft material is pulling away from the holster from the holster from me hitting it with the muzzle.Good Luck!!

It retains well as I did do alot of running around with it and it never slipped. The draw does feel a little heavy because of the inside material. It doesn't feel quite as smooth as a regular non lined kydex holster.I guess you can say it feels more like a leather holster. That being said I don't feel that it slowed me down all that much.
