revenger 472 Posted March 19, 2021 On a recent visit to a friends house the gun talk started up, We are both gun people. He was telling me that his brother who is not a gun guy recently purchased a autoloading pistol because of the current threat to freedom and democracy coming from washington. For the stores sake I will not mention the name or the type of pistol ( dont want them to get a visit ) but it came with 17rd mags. this is from a full time gun store not a part time tool shed FFL. I have purchased and sold to this store over 30 years ago and they are a reputable store. So if any of your friends are not gun enthusiasts tell them to be careful. Im 100% positive this was an oversight of some sort but it could have cost this guy should a nonoathkeeper gotten involved.
kc17 622 Posted March 19, 2021 Good reminder, I'm convinced there are still gun owners out there that don't even know about the magazine restrictions.
Sniper 6,372 Posted March 19, 2021 I'm sure there are boatloads of 15 rounders sitting in closets and safes all over the state. I bet there's only a small percentage (members here) that actually made the effort to convert to 10 rounders two years ago.

I think there are plenty. I know several guys who have a few guns but only shoot once or twice a year who have no idea about any recent (or not so recent) regulations. They pull their guns out, cycle the action a few times to see if it works, shoot at the range, and then put it away until next year.
