4/15/21 - Murphy's dropping more "Gun safety reforms"

Electronic ammo bullshit - I know of competitors who order multiple cases of .22 - 5000 per case. Just think how NJSP will salivate over going after that potential mass murderer with a single shot .22...  Besides, ammo is so cheap and plentiful these days, whats some more layers of bullshit to add to that?

More terrifying is that this means the online ammo sale ban is coming too

The years of political harassment were depressing.  I had to step away from the conversation.

Now I am stepping away from New Jersey, to a state that doesn't attack and harass its legal gun owners.  Sorry.

Because they know they're full of bullshit.  "You can get a gun today as easy as buying a loaf of bread" was said pretty much first thing.

Ain't no loaf of bread required me to get background checked or needed permission papers.

Everyone needs to downvote the shit out of this video.

Well, given the speed at which we are spiraling into Communism, getting bread might become as difficult as getting a gun soon.

Man o man o man...

I am sure the gangs are going to be up all night, losing weeks and weeks and weeks of sleep, pondering the effects of this legislation,  and deciding if they want their gang related activity to remain in New Jersey.

Oh yeah....I forgot....the law abiding citizens are the bad guys in this state.

Does anyone see a Red Line yet?

Think that came and went awhile ago in this state.  Of course, it didn't matter, and we just keep sliding further down the slope.

Another case of this liberal state throwing a ton of crazy legislation against the wall to see what sticks.  Like at the federal level, they can be as brazen as they want in submitting radical bills.  Then some won't make it through and they'll say "compromise, see" and we'll get stuck with something out of this.

Get your dollars behind GOA, ANJRPC, etc...

We're going to need them to help us fight this like hell.

I have done the same in Pennsylvania with ammo purchases recently, but to a much lesser extent than in the past.  I can see New Jersey adopting the same flawed system California is stuck with.

for those living near the bridges, buy ammo in pa. buying it online tells "them" how much and how often you buy it anyway.

weirdly, i kinda want a 50 cal now. i won't buy one, 'cause i'm a broke-ass-bitch.....but i kinda suddenly want one.

Yep only handguns, long guns, receivers and non-nfa others are unregistered.

If some can watch the press conference, please update us. I am at work

We have a point of sale nics and you believe that? I mean I guess if you do multiple purchases on one nics they wouldn't have it, but then the FFL has to file the purchase with the BATFE. Which I'm sure there is no way NJ could get that data.

And this with Murphy up for re-election in 6 months and tens of thousands of new gun owners in N.J.

If he gets another term forget it.

I believe the stimulus money they are taking from the new so-called millionaire tax will be distributed a few months before election day.

Chances of his reelection are probably high.

Running buys you a couple of years at best.  Stand and fight!

There are more than enough reasons to leave NJ....and guns is only one reason to leave...

NJ is done...you can't win...you don't have the numbers...BUT, nothing is impossible - so maybe...but unlikely.

Thats not an easy option for a lot of people; family, older parents, careers, etc.

Now with real estate prices sky high and inventory plummeting in desirable locations the numbers don't work like they once did, i.e. cashing out expensive northeast real estate and purchasing a larger or less expensive property elsewhere.

I am normally the stand and fight guy but also recognize that there is no way to win in a state packed with illegals and others who vote for communism.  The traitors have the numbers, when they don't, they cook the books.

Hell, they dont need the illegals. The registered dem/socialists alreadyown the state with a 2-1 majority and the gap grows with each indoctrinated generation. NJ will never see a R gov, senate or assembly again. Its a done deal.

    • In 50 years of living in NJ I've never experienced any attempt to inspect the interior of the home, and only one definite inspection of the exterior for an announced reassessment of all properties and that was a drive by. About 9 years of that was living in an apartment, but still, uncommon. Every place I lived had either a finished attic, basement, or both. But they were also included in the habitable square footage on the taxes when we got there.
    • 27.00 and change in tolls to drive down the shore from Rutherford,  47.00 in tolls to go out to Long island to visit dying relatives. Now I read they are going to raise the fees in the DMV. Murphy lied just to get elected when he said that seniors will get a significant tax break with his StayNJ" program to stop us from leaving.   Keep voting for democrats...this is what you get.  Tax and spend is all they know.  Never cut anything.  This state sucks.
    • I get the added benefit that since I have a TSP rather than a true 401(k) they tax my retirement too. Yaaaay!
