voyager9 3,417 Posted May 26, 2021 Quote What we're trying to protect, or carve out, are the hobbyist and or casual transactions between friends and family members, but capture the people who literally are making a living and making a profit selling firearms So they’re clarifying who needs to get a FFL. I’ll be honest this seems to make sense.
marlintag 223 Posted May 27, 2021 We have it... it's called a NICS check... What "they" really want is a registry ala the Weimer Republic.

Only way you to that is to track sales. Can't do that in a parking lot with cash.

Local state tyrants like Murphy can get away with it because of one party rule via a third world peasant electorate who enjoy being disarmed. 1
WP22 1,558 Posted June 12, 2021 The only way we'll have more gun control at the federal level is if some republicans vote for it to provide cover to the democrats, by executive order or by admistrative change. The dems need that cover. The sad part is that the repubs won't do anything to advance the gun rights either. For a brief period of time during the Obama years the dems had 60 votes in the senate plus the majority in the house and didn't pass any anti gun legislation.
