My wife still uses AOL mail.

I was going to say the same thing, not asking for money or to buy silver.

I have 2 friends who use AOL. Why I have no idea, but they are seniors. I laugh every time I use them for my Permit application references.

Back in my daaay there were no I.S.Bs.  We had one choice and we liked it!

So what?? You guys use Yahoo? Everyone knows yahoo sux. I have friends that every time a cable company offers a lower rate they switch and go to their email server. Why? AOL works. Easy to tag. Scans out most of my junk mail. Why change? I do have a gmail account but only because I have to. Rarely use it. AOL made it easy for allot of us old folks to get into the interweb in the first place. I see no reason to change now.
