Grapeshot 301 Posted November 25, 2021 After a brief hiatus, the Crossing is on again this year! If you are looking for something to do on December 12th, and can’t make the Crossing on Christmas day, there will be a full dress rehearsal on the 12th. There will be cannons! There will be muskets! There will be swords! There will be hot tavern wenches! OK, well maybe not hot tavern wenches, but there will be cannons! Details below. Come on out and show your support – all proceeds go towards the park. FIRST CROSSING: SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2021 TIME: 10 AM to 4 PM (actual crossing at 1 PM) COST: $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-11, free for children younger than 5. Family rate (2 adults and 2 children) is $20. DETAILS: In addition to the crossing reenactment narrated by Peter Hegseth, special colonial-era activities and demonstrations in the Historic Village will offer a full day of family fun and learning. https://www.washingtoncrossingpark.org/cross-with-us/

njJoniGuy 2,129 Posted November 28, 2021 Do you think that Homeland Security and the FAA can send us a planeload of tavern wenches from Jacksonville for the event? Asking for a friend, of course.
