TNW ASP Survival Pistol NJ Legal?

Buddy of mine just bought one of these (not in NJ) and loves it. Obvoiusly the 30 rd mag will have to go, but if I replace with a 10 rd glock mag is this NJ Legal?

Tried to search the forum for info on this and came up empty - applogies if this has been discussed before.

It's sold as a pistol so no go in the PRNJ. It's 46 ounces over the 50 allowed.

Besides the excess weight, the barrel shroud (handguard) and the mag outside the pistol grip make this a definite no-go here in the Glorious Peoples Republik of New Jerseystan.
