AntZ 1 Posted June 20, 2009 Saw a desert eagle in 357 the other day. Does anybody have experience with it?
Maksim 1,504 Posted June 20, 2009 Brother has it in 44mag. Great shooter, slide a bit harder to operate, great safequeen.

NJ-Tom 4 Posted June 20, 2009 Brother has it in 50AE. Accuracy is not the greatest, recoils is harsh to severe depending on the load, but it is fun to shoot. Ammo costs $1.05 - $1.22 per shot thats if you can find it.
tony357 386 Posted June 20, 2009 I have one in 44 mag, the gun is deadly accurate when shot from a rest, my brother has the same one but with the 357 conversion and works great. it is a fun toy. great for fruit masacres..

How accurate it is at 100yr+ when shot from a rest? Is is harder to clean than a AR 15?
tony357 386 Posted June 21, 2009 not sure at 100 yds but at 50 yds i can shoot 2 in group. it is very easy to clean, their is a tool for cleaning the gas chamber which is important.
Larain60 1 Posted June 21, 2009 The DE 44 mag is a fun gun. Recoil is less than 6 shooter. Pretty accurate.
GRIZ 3,365 Posted June 21, 2009 I had a friend that had one in 357. Heavy and very accurate. The tolerances were so tight it would start jamming after about 50 rounds. If you took it down and cleaned it, it was good for another 50 rounds. It was still doing this after 500 rds. Nice gun but limited utility in my opinion. Maksim 1,504 Posted June 21, 2009 I highly doubt many desert eagles see anything over 500 rounds. lol.
