Portland Shooter Quickly Stopped by Gun Owner Carrying Concealed at the Scene

You may have heard that there was a shooting at a Portland demonstration several days ago... 5 people were shot (1 killed, 4 injured). Awful! One important fact that seems to have been somewhat buried about this story though is that the shooter was quickly stopped by another person at the scene who was legally carrying concealed. Who knows how much worse this crime might have been had this good citizen not been there? Or, not had his gun with him? Police can't be everywhere after all. The hero has not been named by police (I'm guessing perhaps he wanted it that way).

Those kinds of stories of heroism seem to rarely make the news reports.

I looked online for information about the shooter and it seems that he was...odd.
