Lawnmower2021 423 Posted July 24, 2022 This gun looks really fun and interesting. My only hesitation is it's kind of pricey and .410 is harder to come by than I thought. Any thoughts? Is it worthwhile?
Krdshrk 3,872 Posted July 24, 2022 If I already shot .410 and had a large stash of ammo for it, I'd jump on it in a second. I'm wondering if they'll make a 12 or at least 20ga version... If they do then I'll most likely snap one up.
PK90 3,569 Posted July 24, 2022 Destructive Device over .50. Look into the GForce Lever Shotguns. They are built well.

124gr9mm 857 Posted July 25, 2022 "Announced late Thursday, the Axe is compact, with a 16-inch barrel and 26-inch overall length. Chambered in .410 bore, it feeds through a side loading gate and has a magazine tube that holds five 2.5-inch shells. While threaded for invector-style chokes, it is not technically a shotgun and is instead classified as a “firearm” by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, which means it is not regulated under the National Firearm Act." https://www.guns.com/news/2019/12/20/henry-debuts-lever-action-axe-410-non-nfa-firearm
Lawnmower2021 423 Posted September 19, 2022 I actually saw one of these in a local shop and ... it's kind of awkward. At least for me, it felt odd to aim and work the lever. On top of that .410 is hard to come by and most ranges wouldn't even let me use it. I'll pass for now. Sure is pretty, though.
