charleslee 44 Posted August 7, 2022 Are you guys having your three references fill out their sections then you are having it notarized & making two copies since they want three. Reason I ask is one of my references was sure I’d have to have each reference be notarized. I doubt that, there’s not enough room for all those stamps. Thanks. 45Doll 5,874 Posted August 7, 2022 The notary is not certifying your references. The notary is certifying that you are the one signing the application (your signature is in the 'notary' block) and your assertion that everything you answered on page one is true. Read the statement. I did read somewhere that a stamp is not necessary, and in fact may not be wanted/required in this case. But I haven't confirmed that yet. I will be submitting three originals. 1
ShootersShooter 120 Posted August 7, 2022 I had the three contact reference section filled in while on the computer, printed three copies and had them sign the forms. Then took the copies to the notary for seal & stamp. No questions at all when handing in my application to the local PD. My application is now with the courts. 1 1
