Haseebinator3 0 Posted November 1, 2022 I'm really looking the look and reviews of this gun. Can someone please enlighten me on why this is restricted in NJ?! https://www.shopbfam.com/product/arm-tm22-sa-compact-22lr-10rd
dajonga 396 Posted November 1, 2022 It looks like it has a threaded barrel. It could be pinned and welded on, making it NJ legal, but they probably don't want to deal with NJ BS.

And, to be honest, I would choose a better gun. This thing is Turkish made. Not that Turkish made means bad, but what is the company like to deal with for repairs/warranty work, how available are extra mags/parts etc. A good ole US made and supported Ruger 10/22 would be only a little more money and a better gun.

Depends on the FFL - some do compliance work - they may be able to pin on the thread protector or a muzzle brake/comp.
brucin 923 Posted November 1, 2022 I would recommend the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22. Yes it will cost more but they run almost flawlessly.
