Gloucester Twp (Camden County)

Camden county is issuing permits - Unrestricted but limited to the handguns you qualify with.

I'm more curious with the town time table. Haven't heard anyone in town talk about it. If it's unrestricted, how is it limited to only the qualifying gun?

It's checked as unrestricted but the "see court order" is also checked - which lists the gun.

Township timetables are hard to track as there are so many towns... I've been keeping track by county.

Not exactly true. I have seen people in Camden Co who said only no restrictions check. No court order attached.

But I started this thread hoping to see anyone in town has had any luck.

on this note........how does one add guns to their permit?

Apply for an amendment with the court clerk.  You'll have to supply copies of the paperwork that you did the qualification, as well as own the handgun (copy of the executed pistol permit will suffice) and they should be able to amend your permit.

So.... Handed in paperwork Sept 19.... Get a phone call today (nov 21) saying there is an issue with my prints. Asking why i got fingerprints in Aug. I said when i got PTP in july, it told me to. He said i must have click wrong button. I asked what the difference is... Not like my prints changed. If im in system im in system, besides i keep hearing prints only good for 6 months.  He even asked that when i handed in my paperwork "have you been finger printed in past 6 months" which i was. Now he states it is an issue??

Its been 60days anyway, by law, isnt it automatically approved and has to go to country for signoff?

    • I very seriously doubt this has anything to do with terrorism.    1) Harbor pilots are VERY seriously vetted, and highly trained. Not to mention extremely well paid. My experience knowing a few of them, and knowing how they are recruited and screened tells me that there is a slim to highly unlikely chance that a harbor pilot would have participated in anything like that.    2) Maintenance of foreign flag ships is well known to be dubious. Especially these days. These were NOT US flag, Jones act sailors. It was (to my understanding) a largely Indian crew on that ship, with a Ukrainian Captain.    3) The bunkers (fuel) these ships use is ‘Bunker C’, which is a heavy, dirty fuel oil that can, and usually is, pretty contaminated. This stuff ain’t your car grade gasoline or diesel fuel. It’s nasty.   It requires nearly constant filter changes and maintenance to the engine/generators. The ship took on fuel prior to departing port, which would stir up all kinds of shit in the fuel tanks, which would contribute to particulates in the fuel lines/filters.    4) I’d say the posting of the chief engineer for Maserek above was pretty spot on as far as chain of events.    This was a shitty accident, with horrible timing and outcome. Not a terror attack.
    • I saw Lara's interview on Bannon's War Room, and that gave me pause for thought. Her conjecture depends primarily on the veracity of her sources. Regardless, if it's not applicable in any way to this ship disaster, the methods described seem valid to me. And worthy of consideration for the future. As I said before, IMO something is coming.
