dajonga 396 Posted December 23, 2022 Same diameter, different lengths. The longer cylinders can shoot the shorter cartridges. A .357 mag revolver can also shoot .38 special A .44 mag revolver can also shoot .44 special A .327 Fed Mag revolver can shoot .32 ACP, .32 short, .32 long & .32 H&R Mag. A 10mm revolver can also shoot .40 S&W. The S&W Governor revolvers can shoot .45 colt, .45 ACP and 2 1/2" .410 shotgun shells Revolvers are fun!!!

[1] It has the same bullet diameter, same case diameter and a 10.9mm longer case.

The .454 Casull, .45 Colt, and the .460 S&W all fire a .452 bullet. Case lengths differ, but not bore diameter.

ESB 247 Posted December 24, 2022 Taurus Raging Judge would be cool. I can't find any near MSRP though?
NEHackettstown 21 Posted December 24, 2022 I have a Taurus Raging Judge and love it. I haven't seen any in a while near MSRP which is a shame. Good luck and hope you find one soon.
Sudsy 44 Posted December 24, 2022 I can't find a Raging Judge in stock anywhere - not that any of them would ship to NJ anyhow (I hate this state)
RichP 115 Posted December 24, 2022 https://www.gunbroker.com/Revolvers/search?Keywords=Taurus Raging Judge&Sort=13&PageSize=24 Shipping to a NJ FFL has never been an issue for me. Also, If heading out west, keep in mind that a very large caliber is seldom needed in most states. I would actually forego anything larger than 10mm/357mag except where you might come across brown/grizzlies. You'll see that their current ranges are quite small pockets in Montana, Washington, Idaho and Wyoming. Of course, the Canadian Rockies and Alaska are a different story.
