anyone have experience with Bathfitters

Wife wants to get bathroom updated,  In my opinion it doesn't need a complete rip out as the water comes out of the faucet, goes down the drain and the toilet flushes so its good in my book.

I used to do this work in a previous career so I know what it requires to accomplish.   

We had the tub and tile recoated about 10-12 years ago but now tub is chipping away glaze.

Has any one used the services of Bathfitters or that type refinisher ,  looking for Morris county area.

I have no personal experience with them, but one of my former neighbors had them install an insert of some sort over his tub/shower. 
 

He told me it was a nightmare. And an expensive nightmare at that.

I came in after them on a couple of occasions. I wasn't impressed.

My father looked into them and got a price. I believe they want around $5-6k. We re did his whole bathroom for alot less then that.
