Key for 2010 Ford F-150

So, somehow my son lost both keys for his truck, a 2010 Ford F150

I would guess that even a 2010 uses a key with a transponder/chip.  Any suggestions on where we can get another key made?  My son has access to the truck using the key codes, but we need a new key.  Do I have to go to the dealer, or can a lock smith make one?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

We are in Central Jersey in Allentown.

if both keys are gone, and one of those was the master/main key, then the stealership is gonna be your best bet. they can use the vehicles VIN(i believe) to make you a new main key.

 yes, you are correct, transponder key too.

Just asking @1LTCAP couldn't a locksmith make a key from a VIN?
