CMMG zeroed linear comp

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone. New member here, have a question. Would you agree that this would be NJ legal?  https://cmmg.com/compensator-micro-linear-5-56mm

It should be considering its labeled as a linear comp right? Doesn't mention flash hiding at all, but thought maybe the crown is too tall and might hide some flash?

Thanks

Assuming this question is for an AR build? If for a bolt the question would be moot no?

Sorry yes I see now it's in the AR discussion.... Yea I would agree with Texan and as long as no mention of flash hider you should be fine.

OK cool. Just wanted to be sure. I second guess myself with these crazy nj rules.

1) It's sold as a comp.

2) It's design would not do much to abate muzzle flash.

3) It probably doesn't actually function as a comp either based on the design.

It's basically an overly complicated thread protector. I wouldn't concern myself if I were to put it on an AR build. I wouldn't because of #3, but not because I'd be legally concerned.
