High Exposure 5,662 Posted September 1, 2023 Are you forgetting you’re wearing a gun? Or just not thinking about it all the time? I wouldn’t say I ever “forget” I’m carrying, but I would describe it is it is no longer a distraction. I just don’t think about it at all or worry that it’s going to fall out, or that I’m printing, or I left it somewhere, etc… It’s such a normal thing after 20 years that now, it’s more of a constant distraction if I am not carrying. Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted September 1, 2023 Thanks for helping to clarify that. I said "I almost forget," but not distracted by it might be a better description. I was afraid as I said it that someone might think I'm not aware I'm armed in the event of a violent encounter. I know it's there in case I need it, but I am less conscious of the little distractions.

Anyone else finding this? Following up on this post from a few months ago, my wife and I were just about to walk into BJ’s Pub in Toms River a couple of nights ago, when I said, “Uh oh, I have to run back to the car for a minute to put something away.” At that moment, I had an understanding of how people could bring something they shouldn’t to a secured area. Indeed. Particularly if you're out and about for the day you've been walking in and out of retail stores. It could be very easy to forget. Fortunately, you're the only one who knows you have it...
