JackDaWack 2,894 Posted August 11, 2013 It's a WOA complete upper and it comes with the stub. Probably my favorite rifle to bring to the range. Shouldn't be too hard to get someone to tap a mount for you, just make sure it's indexed on the rifle first.
ZED 54 1 Posted August 11, 2013 Wish I saw your build before I made mine, WOA looks real nice and isn't too expensive. Nice build! Like the NJGF ZED lower!
JackDaWack 2,894 Posted August 11, 2013 I picked up the WOA from a forum member... they have a pretty long wait time even post newtown. Def. the best bang for buck upper you could probably buy.. and there prices were about 100 bucks cheaper last year... i have no idea how they put out such a great upper for the price.. it boggles me. I did have like 6 months to piece it together while waiting for the ZED lower to come in.. Before i found the WOA upper on here, i was about to order a Noveske 18" intermediate barrel but the price vs performance difference just wasn't there to justify the noveske.. The complete build includes WOA complete 18" upper + matching BCG Spikes NJ ZED lower RRA lower parts kit geissele SSA-E trigger RRA operator A2 stock Ergo Right hand grip P.E.R.P mount Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x 42mm Harris Bipod S-BRM 6-9"

JackDaWack 2,894 Posted August 12, 2013 Don't worry Rob, she's in a loving home. And i def. understand why you would miss it, its become my favorite range gun.

Lalo 13 Posted August 14, 2013 Nice Lalo!..if you dont mind me asking.. What fixed front sight you running there and how do you like it? They are the iron sights off the M&P15-22. They are the also the same sights they originally put on the M&P Sport i believe. That rifle only has about 100 rounds through it so I can't really tell you how they run. They ran fine on the 15-22 but didn't have them on for long there either. I plan on taking that rifle out the next couple times I go to the range to see how it really performs. vladtepes 1,060 Posted August 20, 2013 if you want to pick them up.. get them from Impact Weapons Components... they are amazing to deal with... as far as the light goes.. the usability of it is great... very very easy to work.. and has a ton of options that are usable with one single switch... when you couple the light with that haley mount.. it puts the light in a great spot.. very easy to use.. I have had several weapon lights.. and this by far is my absolute favorite.. it is also EXTREMELY lightweight.. I like them so much I purchased 3... http://www.impactweaponscomponents.com/

High Exposure 5,634 Posted August 21, 2013 new light.. LOVE IT.. I have one - a low/high/IR model. I did not like it on my AR. It just wasn't bright enough and did not give off enough "spill" or for my needs/wants. So i put it on a breaching shotgun: Works great in the application I have it in now. The "switchology" is easy to use and comfortable. It is very light and compact as well as being extremely streamlined.

I find it plenty bright for me... obviously our needs may vary... also just to update.. Haily has a 200 lumens one available now...
azmaveth 1 Posted August 22, 2013 How come you have a rear buis in front of your scope? And no front buis?
Tackleberry 0 Posted August 22, 2013 Scope sits too low for buis to sit under it. Front sight is built into the rail its folded down. Its an SR15 upper.

checko 180 Posted August 22, 2013 Scope sits too low for buis to sit under it. Front sight is built into the rail its folded down. Its an SR15 upper. Id look into getting 45 degree sights for that. Or maybe a riser for the scope.
Tackleberry 0 Posted August 22, 2013 I am getting 45's in the future. But it would be for looks. That scope is a 1-6x.
High Exposure 5,634 Posted August 22, 2013 I know we have had this conversation before.. I find it plenty bright for me... obviously our needs may vary... also just to update.. Haily has a 200 lumens one available now... The one I have is 200 lumens on bright setting. In all actuality I now find myself using the IR setting the most. Anyway, like I said, it is a nice light. Compact, light weight, well thought out and easy to use. I am getting 45's in the future. But it would be for looks. That scope is a 1-6x. I think you would find a riser a better fit and will give you a more comfortable cheek-weld for proper rifle placement regardless of what BUIS you choose. azmaveth 1 Posted August 22, 2013 Scope sits too low for buis to sit under it. Front sight is built into the rail its folded down. Its an SR15 upper. Ah, I see that now. But still.. the rear BUIS being so close to the front is going to make your sight radius tiny. As others have said, maybe you should get a riser for the scope mount... or a different scope mount all together. What mount do you have now?

High Exposure 5,634 Posted August 22, 2013 You are correct - mine is 125 lumens not 200. Mea Culpa.
Tackleberry 0 Posted August 22, 2013 Negative ghost writer, it's on a night force mount and cheek weld is perfect. The irons are in that spot just for storage till i install a replacement.
