Is that a VLTOR fixed stock? How do you like it? I have a VLTOR fixed stock on my 6mm build and haven't tried it yet.

Being 5'7" the fixed stock is too long for me. I can shoot it just fine though. It was made for a shooter who is 6'00+. He loves it.

PDW-type stock installed on my Fergudishu blaster

 

 

When collapsed, it's 4" shorter than a collapsed carbine stock. When extended, it's the same length as a collapsed carbine stock. It adds about 5oz to the rifle which isn't that bad since it's all at the ass end.

This build is ultra light for me compared to my Sopmod Block II clone.  I'm still testing the HD7 and am in the hunt for a good set of irons.  Overall I'm happy with the mid-length gas system and have had zero failures to date.

My brother got me a giant grumpy cat throw for my birthday.  Thanks for the compliments on the AR.  She's light and shoots quite accurate.  Can't complain.

Intriguing, but any AR can do that without the expense or complexity of removing the actual barrel.

There're some patent issues but once resolved, they'll be $395. These don't require a proprietary carrier either like the Troy and NEA units.
