Don't know how I screwed up the pic.  Anyway as much as I love my AK this AR is fantastic. No it aint very tactikool but I bought what I wanted. I bought it as separate RRA upper and lower from Casos Jersey City.

20" NM SS heavy barrel.

Gas block/rail front and A2 rail/rear irons.

Wylde chamber for 556 NATO or 223REM. (this means nothing unless you are shooting 68gr NATO at 600 yards out at Camp Perry)

Normal steel bolt carrier.

Pinned butt stock.  Houge grip. Shell deflector.

Two stage NM trigger.

I love MK12's.

I posted my MK12 Mod 1-ish SPR in this thread. I run a VCAS sling too.

Nice gun, jrfly.  Unfortunately, you have to go to PA to stretch out some (other than Cumberland in So Jersey).

Same here.  Ultimately, I decided that I wasn't lookign to build a show piece/replica.  I wanted the function over form i.e. higher magnification optic, modern, HP coating on BCG, etc.  Also, I refused to pay KAC for their overpriced handguard/rails or buy the Ops Inc collar since we can't run suppressed in New Jerkey.

Everyone's guns are too clean and blemish free. I don't understand.

It's mine's a new build. You want to see blemished? You should eyeball the m4 my unit issued me. Thing has more combat experience than I do.
