vladtepes 1,060 Posted July 10, 2016 How does the cerakote look over the laser engraving on the other side of the m&p the engraving is just about invisible after the cerakote.. the engraving you are asking about is VERY light.. so cerakote pretty much covered it.. you can faintly see it at the right angle.. I concur. since you should be media blasting the part, that takes off some of the etching. After a light coat of cerakote, the etchings are still present, although hard to see. Even the rail numbers are still there. If you layer coats 2 coats on the outside it should cover everything, just dont don't layer the pin holes or threads or inside the parts.... Sota 1,191 Posted July 11, 2016 Nice! Is that an A2 birdcage on the one to the right? Negative, ghost rider. That would be ILLEGAL in our great *koff* state. It's a Wilson Combat Tactical Muzzle Brake 5.56 NATO TR-MB.
Lightfighter124 3 Posted July 11, 2016 Nice! Is that an A2 birdcage on the one to the right?Monmouth Arms had modified A2 Birdcages. State legal. He showed me one last time I was there. Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
Sota 1,191 Posted July 11, 2016 wonder what's different about them, and can you do the changes to regular A2.
JohnnyB 4,322 Posted July 11, 2016 Negative, ghost rider. That would be ILLEGAL in our great *koff* state. It's a Wilson Combat Tactical Muzzle Brake 5.56 NATO TR-MB. I did not think so. I like it though since it appears that it would not throw as much blast back as the brakes I have do. Pissing off other shooters on the line next to me! n4p226r 105 Posted July 11, 2016 wonder what's different about them, and can you do the changes to regular A2. Probably a cap welded to the front with a 1/4" hole drilled out

JohnnyB 4,322 Posted July 12, 2016 That is cool! How well does it work as a brake though?
vladtepes 1,060 Posted July 12, 2016 What laser is that? its an older laserlyte k15... not really needed.. mostly just for fun.. but its proven to be relatively reliable and accurate..
n4p226r 105 Posted July 15, 2016 Similar in color to vlad. Mine is a few months away from being complete. Need barrel, BCG, muzzle brake, and charging handle.

OfcrFek 21 Posted July 23, 2016 My SPR is almost done. Ultimately, once it's done, it's going to have a diff pistol grip, optics/mount, and a Magpul PRS. But for now, at least she's ready for test firing.
Contrvlr 17 Posted August 4, 2016 That is cool! How well does it work as a brake though? Finally got around to firing it today, felt good to me , also watched as I had someone else shoot it , lower flash , less concussion and muzzle rise than some of the others I've tried ( the pointy thing in the booth next to me was pretty obnoxious, not that I mind but I worry about the people next to me who may ) . Paid $25 bucks for it, I'm happy
Purple Patrick 638 Posted August 4, 2016 Quick shitty pic but I picked up an MRO and BAD mount. Quick impression is I love it this signature exceeds the 15 character capacity count
